Field Technician
Derek’s passion for agriculture and farming runs deep, as he has been around it his entire life having grown up on his family’s farm in Nebraska. He brings to EarthOptics a wealth of experience working on farms throughout junior high and high school, eventually progressing to a role as a farm manager. Just before joining EarthOptics, Derek spent time working in heavy construction and is excited to return to doing what he loves - working in agriculture.
Coming from Nebraska, Derek’s hobbies include hunting, shooting, hiking, and anything outdoors. You can also find Derek cheering on the Nebraska Cornhusker football team every season. With a love for agriculture and a passion for learning new technology, Derek fits right in as a member of the EarthOptics Field Team.
