Jacob Hans

Jacob is a passionate environmentalist and sustainability advocate who joined EarthOptics due to the Company's inspiring mission and welcoming culture. With previous experience in cybersecurity research and software engineering, he contributed to automated vulnerability discovery and data flow analysis programs. Jacob's background also includes glacier research using remote sensing and teaching conservation at a Boy Scout summer camp.

Originally from Colorado, he enjoys outdoor activities, playing ultimate frisbee, and creating video games. In his new role at EarthOptics, Jacob is excited to support the company's mission and deepen his understanding of soil science.
