Matt joined EarthOptics to continue using his knowledge and skills working with sensors and soil/water sampling in agriculture. He believes using machine learning with technology is the future of agriculture. Matt has a background in collecting field samples and reviewing environmental permits to predict the impacts of large-scale agricultural projects. In addition, he worked in a lab and presented the results of both predictions and observed findings to public entities and non-profits.
Matt is originally from Nebraska but has lived between there and Florida, where his family's business is headquartered. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, visiting museums, experiencing different cultures, and discovering music, film, and art.
