Spencer joined EarthOptics due to his interest in natural resource management and desire to be a part of a growing field that utilizes soil data to improve agricultural efficiency and sustainability.
He has a bachelor's degree in ecosystem science from Colorado State University. Spencer has previously worked with ecologists at a conservation nonprofit to carry out several data collection initiatives involving physical stream characteristics, plant species inventory, and restoration projects. In addition he has worked on data analysis and interpretation for researchers studying how grazing management influences rangeland soil health metrics in Colorado.
Spencer's passions include being outdoors, hiking, biking and camping. With EarthOptics, Spencer is excited to pursue a career in soil management and to learn more about the data collection process that EarthOptics employs.
