Dave Nilosek, PhD

Dave has over a decade of experience in productionizing and R&D of data processing and serving technologies. Dave has several patents and scientific publications in the fields of computer vision and remote sensing.

He earned his PhD from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Imaging Science. Prior to joining EarthOptics, Dave led engineering teams at both HySpecIQ and EagleView Technologies, where he oversaw the development of a cloud-based petabyte scale data processing and delivery system. He worked as a specialist engineer for Photonic Sentry where he developed an embedded system for real-time high-speed object identification and at Los Alamos National Lab where he worked on smoke plume modeling. Dave has a passion for developing novel technologies into actionable and useful products. He is based out of Seattle, Washington.
