Gunnar Bodvarsson

Gunnar joined EarthOptics because he has a strong passion for sustainable agriculture and technology and believes this company is at the forefront of where those two industries meet. Before joining EarthOptics, Gunnar spent his previous summers with the USDA NRCS as a Soil Conservationist Student Trainee, doing field visits and designing various conservation programs. He also had the wonderful opportunity to run St. Olaf College's 1.5-acre vegetable farm. Most recently, he worked at a small vegetable farm in Waldorf, MN, learning more about how small agriculture businesses function and how to better care for the soil, plants, and people.

Although Gunnar has moved around the country throughout his life, he grew up in St. Cloud, MN. In his free time, his most essential hobbies include fishing, cooking, and making music. Gunnar is most excited about his role with EarthOptics because he can learn about and utilize the amazing technology EarthOptics has developed and explore how he can grow with the company.
