Joey's professional journey began in the United States Air Force (USAF), Security Forces. During his six years in the military, he served as a military police officer, involved in a variety of roles ranging from law enforcement to asset protection. This experience honed his skills in security management, situational awareness, and disciplined problem-solving. Following his honorable service in the USAF, Joey transitioned to the private sector as physical security specialist for Microsoft datacenters. There, he was responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of critical infrastructure. His attention to detail and commitment to safeguarding assets made him a trusted and reliable team member in high-stakes environments.
Joey's unique blend of technical skills, security expertise, and adventurous spirit makes him a valuable asset to the EarthOptics team. He applies his extensive background to the field operations team, advancing the company's mission of improving soil health and agricultural productivity through cutting-edge technology. Outside of his professional life, Joey is a big science buff and likes to learn new and interesting things from nuclear fusion breakthroughs to space travel. Joey has a passion for trail riding and dirtbike riding, activities he has enjoyed since his youth. He earned his motorcycle endorsement at the age of 16 and continues to find joy in exploring the great outdoors on two wheels.
