Andrew Walston

Andrew was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He had a passion for engineering from a young age and completed a BS in Engineering from Bob Jones University, where he gained experience with mechanical and electrical engineering. His favorite project was working on and building an autonomous vehicle.

Before joining the team at EarthOptics, Andrew worked on utility design for electrical distribution, water, and sewer systems. When he heard about the opportunities and the vision at EarthOptics he pursued and gladly accepted a Hardware Engineering Specialist position. He now works on research and development of new technologies for EarthOptics as well as assisting the field and data teams when needed. He is excited to see the future that EarthOptics has and how he can play a role in it.

When not working Andrew enjoys playing disc golf with his friends and volunteering in his community.
