David Yocom

Prior to joining EarthOptics, David was a Principal at iSelect Fund, a venture capital firm specializing in food, agriculture, sustainability and human health. He played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth, focusing primarily on evaluating and executing investments in promising early-stage technology companies. During his time at iSelect, David worked closely with EarthOptics' management team and came to deeply appreciate the Company's immense opportunity to leverage data to improve soil health, agricultural productivity and sustainability outcomes. At EarthOptics, David works across the firm's business development, corporate development, product strategy and fundraising initiatives.

David, who was born and raised in San Francisco, returned to his home state in 2021 and enjoys being back in the Bay Area with his family. Beyond his professional endeavors, David is a fitness coach, guitarist, a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, an avid outdoor explorer, and never declines an invitation to a themed party.
