Jason Lampel

Born in Alpena, Michigan, Jason has over nine years of web development experience and a decade of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) knowledge. He specializes in the design and development of interactive maps that offer a modern alternative to traditional maps, and provide solutions to typical map constraints. His primary mapping interests include land conservation, natural resources, wildlife, and environmental protection.

Jason’s love of geography and mapping started at a young age. As a toddler, his parents ran a small moving business and often drove a semi-truck across the country with their budding geographer in tow. These trips provided many opportunities to learn about maps, and Jason's love for travel has remained lifelong- he has since been to all 50 states and currently resides in Minneapolis MN.
