Sarah Willis
Senior Key Account Manager
Sarah’s interest in agriculture, sustainable food production, and health and wellness stems from her upbringing on her family’s farm in Iowa where they founded the national, all-natural brand, Niman Ranch. It is there that Sarah developed a strong connection to nature while honing her farming, food, and agritourism knowledge. She has been active in the sustainable food movement by, among other things: speaking on panels at Stanford University and in guest conversations on Martha Stewart Radio, being featured in the book Women and the Land and in Martha Stewart Living magazine, and authoring the blog series entitled News from the Farm for Niman Ranch.
Upon learning about EarthOptics, Sarah was excited about the ease, accuracy, and affordability of the company’s soil mapping and analysis tools in assisting farmers, ranchers, landowners, and food companies. She is thrilled about what this means in terms of empowering people and companies to integrate carbon sequestration into their land management practices to work towards climate change mitigation. Sarah’s passion for making a positive impact in the world and our communities by promoting healthy food and farming systems aligns seamlessly with EarthOptics’ mission. Outside of her professional endeavors, Sarah has enjoyed international travel, blogging, public speaking, and artistic pursuits.
