Danielle Watts

Danielle Watts is the Vice President of Data Science at EarthOptics, with expertise in building product-focused teams that integrate field research to machine learning models and the data pipelines that support them. At EarthOptics she leads the team developing, optimizing and validating soil metagenomic insights in agricultural settings across the midwestern US. Her team is focused is the scalability of the bioinformatics and proven ROI of insights for growers. Danielle was previously the Vice President of Data Science at Arable Labs, leading a team covering the device-to-customer ecosystem, climate model downscaling, device calibration, and agronomic modeling. She holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida.
